Dr. Anu Aneja is currently a Professor in the School of Gender & Development Studies at IGNOU, New Delhi.  She completed her Bachelor’s degree in French from JNU, and has a Ph.D in Comparative Literature from Penn State University.  She has taught courses in contemporary literature, women’s studies, postmodernism and postcolonialism for over 23 years in the US, before re-locating back to India.  She has published widely on postmodern and feminist studies, French and francophone writers.  Besides teaching and research in the area of contemporary women’s literature, her other interests include creative writing and clay sculpture.
